Phytotherapy

Adored for its light and coveted for its warmth, the sun has always aroused our admiration and attracted man. Known for a long time for its benefits on certain skin diseases, but also on morale and on certain respiratory infections, sunlight is now reproduced artificially to allow everyone to benefit from its virtues. Used briefly and repeatedly to avoid prolonged exposure, it helps tone the tissues to stimulate and accelerate the body’s natural healing process.

What's this ?

This traditional medicine is based on the active ingredients contained in plants and roots. Used since the dawn of time – the Sumerians, Greeks and Romans already practiced it – it was for a long time the best known way of caring for the sick and was made up of several branches: traditional Chinese medicine, Ayurvedic medicine Indian, aromatherapy and many more…

If alternative medicine is often associated with Asian civilizations, which, it is true, have kept this practice over time, we must not forget that Europe has also played an essential role in phytotherapy. The monks of the Middle Ages, and our ancestors in general, knew how to find effective and inexpensive remedies in their gardens, which had to be used with care as their power was powerful.

Modern medicine itself takes its effectiveness from the synthesis of the active principles of plants and improves every day the knowledge that we have of them and their curative powers thanks to medical research.

Today Phytotherapy remains the most practiced medicine in the world and is increasingly favored by Western societies as a complement or alternative to the chemical protocols of modern medicine.

How it works ?

Because herbal medicine is not a placebo medicine, it is important to trust professionals who will be able to provide you with natural solutions to be divided between prophylaxis, care as such and treatment to prevent any recurrence.

The plant is used in part or whole and in different forms:

  • herbal teas
  • dry extracts
  • powders and essential oils (aromatherapy)

Its modes of administration vary according to the disorders to be treated and the nature of the plant.

They can be used in inhalations, infusions, ointments, poultices, etc.

As in a drug, the active principles of these plants will then be released in the body and help it to regulate its functions, relieve it, but also promote its self-healing unlike the drug which will inhibit the self-reflexive reflex. healing of the body to allow it to rest and do it for it.
